YOUR STORY: NDSHS students attend USC Leadership Day
A NOOSA District State High School student leader representative from Year 11 (Chandler Kamradt) and Year 12 (Amber Jones) joined school leaders from Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay to inspire and help others through an exciting leadership initiative offered by the University of the Sunshine Coast on March 10.
More than 70 school captains and house captains from 13 schools took part.
A motivational address by extreme adventurer John Cantor and a demonstration of a stress-busting breathing technique were highlights of the Leadership Day program at USC's campus at Sippy Downs.
An interactive leadership workshop led by USC staff member Jodie Turner positioned students for the influential roles that they can play both within their schools and local community.
