More than 70,000 turn out for Million Paws Walk

THE RSPCA is thanking dog lovers after more than 70,000 turned out for the Million Paws Walk.

Events were held across the country last weekend, including Ipswich, where an estimated 1000 prod pet owners took part to help raise money for the RSPCA and its animal shelters.

There were an estimated 25,000 walkers across Queensland.

Last year, owners and their pets raised more than $2 million.
