Lockyer Valley's ANZAC Day ceremony locations and times

LOCKYER Valley Regional Council will hold ANZAC Day ceremonies throughout the region on Monday 25 April.

Acting Mayor Tanya Milligan said the renewed respect surrounding ANZAC Day was pleasing to see.

"ANZAC Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by current and ex-servicemen and women.

"Over the past few years there has been a significant increase in attendance at ANZAC Day services, which highlights the respect our region, and the population in general, has for this day," Cr Milligan said.

ANZAC Day services across the region are as follows:


Dawn Service: 4.15am for a 4.28am start at the Weeping Mothers Memorial, Littleton Park, Hickey Street, Gatton.

March and Service: The procession will start to form at 10am in North Street, Gatton, adjacent to the Council office for a 10.30am start.

The march will lead to the Boer War Memorial then to Littleton Park for a service.

Dawn Service: 4.20am for a 4.28am start at ANZAC Memorial Park, Patrick Street, Laidley.

March and Service: Assembly will be outside the Laidley Council office, Spicer Street from 10.15am. The march will lead to ANZAC Memorial Park for an 11am start to the service. For more information contact


March and Service: Assembly for the Forest Hill ANZAC Day march will be from 9am, leading to Memorial Park for a 9.15am start to the service. All sporting, community groups and schools are invited to participate. For more information contact


March and Service: Assembly for the Helidon ANZAC Day march and service will commence at 12.15pm at the corner of Turner and Railway Streets, for a march at 12.30pm.
