Local teen aims for rainbow pot of gold
YOUR STORY: My name is Emily Martin and I am a teen national finalist for Face Of The Globe Australia, an international beauty pageant.
As part of my role in the pageant, I am set the task to raise funds for the Rainbow Child Foundation.
I have been doing this through a number of events so far.

My next charity event is a community youth social called Bassdrop.
It will be held on Friday July 31 at Centenary Heights State High School Assembly Hall for students from grades 7 to 12.
All Toowoomba and Darling Downs secondary school students are invited to attend for a night of Bass, lights and fun.
The event is alcohol and drug free with security in attendance.
ID cards will be required at the door.
Kloud9ine trampoline park will hand out free jump passes and perform awesome ticks on the night, so keep an eye out for them.
All money raised from the event will go to the Rainbow Child Foundation.
It has been an honour to get involved with the local Toowoomba community as a part of my Face of the Globe Australia journey and I can't wait until the national finals in August when I will represent Toowoomba and Queensland as a national finalist.
If I am lucky enough, I could earn my way to a top 5 spot and be able to represent Australia for Face of the Globe.
