Lifeline needs volunteers for its annual Bookfest
LIFELINE is putting a call out for anyone interested in volunteering at the Sunshine Coast Bookfest event from September 30 to October 3.
Volunteer roles include cashiers, book sorters, concierges and information stand assistants.
By volunteering for Lifeline, not only will you be making a difference to the lives of other Australians who use Lifeline services, but you'll also be enriching your own life.
Proceeds from the Bookfest support Lifeline services such as the 24-hour 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line.
In Queensland, Lifeline services and shops are run by UnitingCare Community - a leading provider of community services and programs for individuals, families and children.
Sunshine Coast Bookfest will be held at the Lake Kawana Community Centre.
