Learn how chickens help create a holistic mixed farm

Do you want to know about Chickens as part of developing a holistic mixed farm?

Come and meet Michael and Anna Henbury, they are opening their farm this coming Saturday to share with you their knowledge and experience.  

They will be conducting a farm walk which will include the broiler chickens, laying hens, and some of the regeneration work they have started.   2pm Saturday 19th March at Melsted Park, 317 Lawnville Rd, Black Mountain, 4563 This will be followed by afternoon tea on the lawn and tours of "Gus' Garden".  

Approximately a 2 hour walk of a Grade 3 level - Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Tracks have steep hill sections a rough surface and a creek crossing.

Walkers are advised to wear closed in shoes and a hat and carry water. There will be an option of a Level 1 walk on the day.   

Tickets are $10 each or $25 family - bookings are essential as spaces are limited - car pooling is also recommended.
