Ladyhawke anxious over new album

KIWI singer Pip Brown, aka Ladyhawke, has announced details for her long-awaited second album.

The record, called Anxious, is the follow-up to her 2009 self-titled hit, which featured singles like Paris Is Burning and My Delirium and made her a bonafide star thanks to extensive coverage in UK music magazine NME.

Anxious is due out on March 19, with the first single Black, White & Blue set for release soon.

In a statement, Ladyhawke said she was looking forward to getting back on the road after recording the album.

"I've made an album I'm really proud of, so I just can't wait to start playing with the band again, and touring and having some fun," she said.

"I can't wait to get back into it."
