Brisbane will showcase locally-prepared Queensland produce while home-grown artists hit the stage for a day of music and entertainment.
With delectable tasting plates from local restaurants, entertainment from local artists and free entry, Great Australian Bites is the perfect way for you to kick back and soak up the summer vibes this Australia Day holiday.
Australia Day activities in Queensland are proudly supported by the Queensland Government in partnership with the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
So make the most of your Australia Day long weekend and head to South Bank Parkland River Quay for 2017 Great Australian Bites.
Set against the picturesque background of the Brisbane River, local restaurants will showcase Queensland produce with a variety of taster plates, picnic baskets and drinks in pop-up food stalls.
There is full program of live entertainment featuring performances from Phil Jamieson, Dan Kelly, Halfway and more to enjoy.
Great Australian Bites venue location provides a great view of the spectacular Australia Day fireworks on Thursday, January 26, from 7.30 pm.
Located at River Quay, South Bank Parklands, Brisbane starting Thursday, January 26, to Saturday, January 28, 11am to 8.30pm.
