RISING US country music star Kelsea Ballerini will co-host next month's CMC Music Awards in Brisbane with Morgan Evans.

The singer-songwriter will visit Australia for the first time next month to perform at the sold-out CMC Rocks music festival and, now, to helm the sixth annual awards.

"I've heard that the country music community in Australia is so incredible, and to witness it first hand, is something I have been looking forward to", Ballerini said.

"I'm so excited to celebrate country music with Morgan and all the artists at the CMC Music Awards this year.

"It's my first time hosting... wish me luck!"

Foxtel and CMC today also announced Australian artists and recent Golden Guitar winners Beccy Cole and Shane Nicholson as the awards ceremony's final two performers.

They join a line-up which already includes America's Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line, both of whom perform in Australia for the first time next month, and Australia's own Adam Harvey.

The CMC Music Awards will take place at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) on Thursday March 10 and will be broadcast live on Foxtel's Country Music Channel (CMC) at 8.30pm AEST.
