Juveniles throw rocks at motorists

ROCKHAMPTON police are investigating after a group of juveniles reportedly threw rocks at motorists driving along Musgrave and High Sts on Monday night.

Acting Inspector of the Rockhampton City Patrol Ben Carroll said the juveniles were aged between 10 and 14 years old and confirmed police were called to the Northside Plaza car park following complaints from the public.

"Last night we had a few issues," Acting Insp Carroll said. "Police responded and are aware of who the children are.

"Police are working with the families of the children as well as other agencies to try and quell the issues."

Acting Insp Carroll said thankfully there had been no complaints of damage caused from Monday's incident.
