Brisbane Council offering pet microchipping discounts

MICROCHIPPING makes it easier to be reunited with your lost pet. Brisbane City Council is offering to microchip your dog or cat for a discounted fee.

A microchip is a permanent form of electronic identification.

The microchip implant is about the size of a grain of rice and causes no discomfort to your pet. It contains your contact details which are recorded on an animals record database for the life of your pet.

This means Fido and Puss can be identified Australia-wide and safely returned to you if they become lost.

For more information on when the next discounted microchipping event will be in your area, visit www.brisbane.qld.gov.au or call council on 3403 8888.
