YOUR STORY: Bakers Delight are currently running a pink bun promotion with all the proceeds from the sale of pink buns going to Breast Cancer Network of Australia.

Last year, Bakers Delight helped raise almost $1.8 million Australia-wide from the sale of the buns which, in turn, continues to assist in the ongoing support of many thousands of women diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

In a show of support for the initiative, St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital staff happily consuming 300 pink buns and raised over $570 at a special morning tea hosted at the hospital through the week.

As a Breast Cancer Network of Australia volunteer community liaison person, I am grateful for the help of other volunteers, and the support of St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital CEO Ray Fairweather and hospital staff, in making the pink bun morning tea possible.

With a family history of breast cancer, I feel it's important to support these initiatives.

If I can help put back I feel I'm helping other women who are going through their own breast cancer journey.

I would encourage other work places to get on board with this campaign because breast cancer affects the whole community.
