Hop into the New England region this Easter
KEEN to make it a little bit harder for the Easter Bunny to find you this year?
The team at Coolum Coaches has the perfect opportunity to make the little bunny hit the road on a treasure hunt of its own in 2019 with its 7-day New England Easter Tour.
With autumn in the air, Easter is the perfect time to take in the cooler climes of Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, Armidale, Dorrigo, Tamworth, Uralla, and Glen Innes.
Picture trees changing colour with leaves of deep ruby red, rich yellows and browns of every hue.
And start salivating now over the amazing local food and drink you'll encounter along the way through this rich and inviting district.
With seven days to play with, the tour organisers on this trip have dug deep to find some new and interesting locations for guests to visit.
In Stanthorpe, the tour drops by Lawdogs Australia where guests will get to meet the dogs and see them going through the process of training for law enforcement roles.
Tenterfield includes a guided tour of the town and visits to Stannum House, the Sir Henry Parkes School of Arts and the Tenterfield Saddler.
The sites of Armidale and beauty of the Dorrigo National Park and Rainforest Centre make the list, as does the Tamworth Power Station Museum, the Longyard Hotel and the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame.
In Uralla it's McCrossins Mill and Inverness Park Cashmere Farm that stitch up a day, before moving on to Glen Innes for a historical tour of the town and the Standing Stones and a visit to the Land of the Beardies History House.
And no tour to the area would be complete without at least one visit to a winery or brewery, which makes the Granite Belt Brewery the perfect place to visit on the way back to Brisbane.
The 7-day New England Easter Tour is on from April 17 to 22 with prices starting at $1977 for a twin/double booking and an additional single supplement of $312 for those travelling alone.
