Highly anticipated film not showing at major cinemas in QLD

IT was dubbed one of the most anticipated movies to show at cinemas this year, but if you are a Queensland resident, you'll have to fly interstate to see it.

The movie, Boyhood, which was filmed over seven years and has won eight awards so far, is not listed to be showing at either of the three major cinema groups in any Queensland cinema.

The movie release date is this Thursday.
