Help available to aid with independence

LIFETIME Connect has been operating in the Nambucca Valley LGA for over 40 years, dedicated to providing seniors with services that allow them to remain independent in their own homes.

We are a local organisation providing a diverse range of support for individuals, families and the community throughout their lifetime.

Ensuring we are up to date with the latest technologies and skills needed to support everyone within the community through the changes happening during 2017.

"Lifetime Connect is proud to play an active part in our communities, employing local people and providing a local voice on the end of the phone," states Manager, Ruth Hannagan.

"Our mission and values reflect our commitment to walk alongside members of our community to develop the services and support that encourages people to be actively involved in maintaining their independence and wellbeing.

"We value and respect differences in culture and lifestyle and provide links to a broad range of services", says Ruth.

In 2016 Lifetime Connect merged with the Nambucca Valley Children's Group, strengthening the range of services we offer ranging from in-home support for older people to playgroups and school readiness programs for children. This includes a wide variety of community programs.

This creates not only opportunity for the community to access a wider range of services from one local organisation, but also for Lifetime Connect to build pathways for staff and give options for diversifying roles within the organisation.

Lifetime Connects vision is to build strength in individuals, families and communities with a mission to provide quality and inclusive community based services that will enhance the lives of people in the community.
