READER'S DISCUSS:Slow internet speed using Optus services
BRUCE Kerr's Weekend Bully story about slow internet speed with Optus at Frenchville struck a chord with other readers. Here is a sample of their issues.
Diane Hermann: We have been with Optus for 10-plus years and this has been atrocious internet service as well as mobile this year.
Andrea Maxwell: Surprised Bruce was getting so little from Telstra. We pay the same amount for 500GB (now 1TB), free local, national and family mobiles. Bandwidth has been crap but seems to have improved lately.
Kiara Anderson: I'm in Gracemere and Optus internet and phone don't work at all. No connection. So switched phone to Telstra. It's brilliant. But still haven't re-connected internet yet.
Joanne Lee: My phone is with Optus and I have poor reception in my home (Norman Gardens).
Krystal South: It was slow with Telstra, it's slow with Optus, either way it's slow so I'd rather pay less.
Martha Ireland: My internet is at dial up speeds most of the time. I'm with Telstra.
Kerry Barber: We have the same problem, switched to Optus this week and it's so slow.
Wayne Andersen: I'm with Optus and it used to be okay but in the last month or two, it has been terrible.
