Have a laugh at the Lind Theatre in Nambour

THE comedy Keeping Down with the Jones's will be performed at the Lind Theatre Nambour with the season starting on September 18.

The story goes that Geoffrey Jones, MP and sometime architect, is convinced the Russians are about to launch a nuclear strike against England.

Building a bomb shelter equipped with everything he, his wife, and his wife's old mother will need to last out such a strike.

Trying the thing out for a three-week experiment, inadvertently, they are trapped inside, along with the telephone installer and an Indian milkman.

Ever striving to keep up with the Joneses, the neighbours have now kept down with them by building their own abutting shelter and by a strange set of circumstances are also trapped with either neighbor not wanting to admit this to the other.

Hilarious complications ensue.
