SENIORS TECHNOLOGY CLASSES
THE Nambucca Shire Libraries are running seniors technology classes for all those who are beginners or want to improve their online skills. The classes run on Wednesdays at the Macksville Senior Citizens Hall from 9am-noon.
The class size is limited to five so the pace is easy and you get lots of one-on-one time with the teachers.
Devices are supplied on the day we are running these classes in partnership with TAFE so the teachers are highly skilled in teaching in this area.
You will learn skills like using a tablet, emailing, online safety, searching online, social media, hobbies and interest groups and more. Class sizes are limited so please phone Macksville Library on 02 6568 1422 to book your place. Classes run on Wednesday 9am-noon.
NAMBUCCA VALLEY BRIDGE CLUB
BRIDGE is a card game played by millions of people world-wide and is one of Australia's favourite past-times.
At the Nambucca Bridge Club, duplicate bridge is played - everyone plays the same cards and their results are compared to other players holding the same cards and whoever does best on each hand wins. Bridge is a game that needs to be learnt but is enjoyed from the very outset. Bridge is hugely stimulating for the brain and and it has even been said to stave off degenerative diseases. For information on the next training course, phone president, Richard Levy on 0415 418 645.
