Cocky king set for the chop in GoT
HE'S got lucky in more than one way already, but time's up for Game of Thrones' Euron Greyjoy.
That's the prediction of fans playing the GoT Challenge, who are tipping the cocksure pirate king, along with Gregor Clegane and Qyburn, as the characters most likely to be dead by the end of Monday's Episode 4.
Greyjoy has already foiled hundreds of players who predicted he'd die in Episode 2, but can he do it again?
If it does all go grey and joyless for Euron, he may be joined in rigor mortis by his fling Cersei. A large minority of players think the killer queen will die on Monday, 43 per cent to 57 per cent who say she'll survive.
(On that note, come back on Sunday when our GoT expert Duncan Lay analyses just who will slay Cersei, be it in two days or two weeks as the ratings-busting Season Eight continues on Foxtel.)
Meanwhile a quick glance at the usual five warm-up trivia questions in the current Round 4 of the GoT Challenge shows which topics seem to be a breeze and which are troubling.
Fans know their Westeros animals and they are pretty good on lethal objects - but their knowledge of metalwork in and around Kings Landing needs some tuning up.
And the question that seems to dividing players straight down the middle is one of heroism.
If you haven't yet played the challenge it's not too late to start - just as it's not too late to catch up on the TV event of a generation.
There's a $10,000 iron throne to win, plus extraordinary character tombstones from Foxtel's Grave of Thrones exhibition, and boxed sets of GoT books from HarperCollins Australia.
