Fishing rod and reel resurrects itself

RECENTLY, one of my boys went fishing with his girlfriend at Boonooroo after being told by a work mate where to catch 'em.

They got no fish that day but his girlfriend pulled in an expensive rod and reel.

My son noticed that there was no corrosion and said, "this couldn't have been in the water for long".

Starting work a day or two later, his working buddy was complaining about a fishing trip where he had lost an expensive rod and reel.

"Where did you go mate? " my son asked.

"Boonooroo boat ramp," the workmate replied.

"What brand was it mate," and he told him.

My son said, "it's in my shed mate".

What are the odds of pulling in this bloke's expensive lost rod and reel and a workmate's girlfriend pulling it in.

It's now in the hands of the original owner.

These guys are workmates and keen fishermen.
