MOTHER'S Day means a time for double celebrations in the Ind household from now on.

Peter and Ainslee Ind of Beachmere welcomed their second child, daughter Faith Autumn Ind into the world at the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital in Buderim yesterday morning.

Faith was in a hurry to make Mother's Day extra special for Ainslee after she was delivered in just over an hour-and-a-half at 7.03am.

"It all happened very quickly," Ainslee said yesterday.

For the young family, Faith's arrival means a new playmate for her brother, Taylor, 2, and also marks a special moment for the immediate Ind family, with Faith the first girl born in the family and her dad Peter, was one of four boys.

Faith arrived a couple of days ahead of her May 10 due date but her rapid entry means the family will now never forget Mother's Day.

As of this afternoon Faith was the only Mother's Day baby born at Buderim's Sunshine Coast Private Hospital.

Meanwhile at Nambour General Hospital there have been four new arrivals recorded so far today, with another two or three expected to arrive by day's end.

The earliest arrival went to Nambour General Hospital, with the first Mother's Day baby on the Coast arriving there at 3.12am.
