Elderly woman in Sunshine Coast motorway crash
BREAKING: An elderly woman has been involved in single-vehicle a motorway crash on the Sunshine Coast.
The woman's car crashed on the Sunshine Mwy at Sippy Downs, on the eastern side of the Sippy Downs Dr overpass.
One ambulance crew was called to the scene at 3.20pm after a passing motorist called 000, reporting the car was off the road facing the wrong way.
Paramedics remain on scene assessing the woman, but said she has not suffered serious injuries.
Traffic on the motorway has not been affected by the crash.
