MENTAL Health Week (October 9-15) is a time for all seniors to pause and look at their lifestyle and diet to see if any small improvements could be made to sail into old age sound of mind and body.

Australian foodie, Judy Phillips has re-released her cookbook Good Life Great Food in time for Mental Health Week, with 100% of sales going to the Black Dog Institute.

The home cook and cooking teacher shows how easy it is to make mood-boosting meals every day.

Her fresh, seasonal recipes are adapted to today's lifestyles and are inspired by her love of entertaining, her travels, and some favourites from her cooking classes.

Recipes to enhance your mood and well-being include healthy sashimi salad, barbecued barramundi, a flourless chocolate cake, and fig, plum and ricotta tart.
