Early frost on barbed wire snags votes for Photo of the Day

IT was a very tight vote for Photo of the Day yesterday, with this beautiful image of early morning frost on a barbed wire fence, submitted by Eden Monique-Hull, just scraping through on 35%.
Eden's photo just edged out a lovely picture or a rose submitted by Lynne Schrader, which picked up 32% of the vote and will be Monday's Photo of the Day.
Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the photographic talent of its people.
As well as appearing here it is published on Page 2 of the newspaper and is used as the cover image on our Facebook page.
