Tartan toddler: Little bagpipe player joins the band

A MARCHING bagpipe band clearly got their wires mixed when the order for more kilts resulted in the group recruiting their smallest-ever member.

Three-year-old Callum had his dream come true when the pipers of the Ceol Neamh pipe band allowed him to join their band at the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival in the US.

In footage shared by his mother Meg Eaton Vinson, the tiniest, and the cutest, of the tartan-clad musicians strode side-by-side with his fellow musicians with bagpipes in hand.

Vinson later remarked the pipers took Callum under their wing and made sure he didn't get lost amongst the crowd of the parade.
