NATIONALLY renowned musical dance act Justice Crew flew in to the Fraser Coast on the weekend to perform for thousands of scouts at the jamboree farewell.

The well-known hip-hop dance troupe graced the stage for the closing performance at the Australian Jamboree on Saturday night, dancing and singing their way in to the night along with more than 7000 scouts.

Justice Crew member Emmanuel Rodriguez said the concert would be the first time they had ever performed for scouts, and were very excited to take to the stage.

"It's going to be really exciting to perform for the scouts because it is both boys and girls," Emmanuel said.

"We have a lot of responsibility to kids to be good role models and to teach them that they can dream big, dream as big as they want.

"It's about getting them to believe that there is always opportunity for people who believe and dream."

Emmanuel said the visit to the Scout Jamboree was the first time the group had been to the Fraser Coast.

Justice Crew performed as the final national act at the Scout Jamboree, which called the Maryborough showgrounds home from January 1 to 12.
