Community rallies to get youngster lifesaving surgery
TOOWOOMBA residents have rallied behind Luke Reinbott in the hopes of saving his life.
Over the past four years Luke has recovered from a traumatic brain injury and a stroke but he is now facing a new challenge.
Luke needs $130,000 to undergo lifesaving surgery in the United States.
In 2011 when Luke was recovering from TBI, doctors inserted a small device into one of his critical veins to protect him from blood clots.

Last week Luke's brother Nathan Reinbott made a public plea to help save his brother.
In just six days $40,000 has been raised.
Mr Reinbott said it was encouraging for his family to know they were not alone.
"We are so grateful that people have so much compassion for Luke," he said.
"Knowing so many people have been touched by his story and are willing to help is wonderful."
The Cave Gym held a fundraiser on its opening day on Saturday and donated all funds to Luke's surgery.
The Reinbott family still has a long way to go to reach $130,000 but Mr Reinbott is positive they will reach their goal.
"We are still a long way from our goal and I know it is a big ask but it's not something we can do on our own," he said.
"If we continue to get the backing that we have had, I'm sure we can make it.
"We would be forever grateful if everyone can share Luke's story with as many people as they can."
