Coast Seniors Expo taking the community back to 50s

SENIORS can get their kicks by reliving the past at this year's Fraser Coast Seniors Expo.

The annual event will return to the Hervey Bay Baptist Church on Friday August 5, complete with a 1950s theme.

Up to 80 exhibitors will be on show to offer their products and services including legal, travel, accommodation, personal care, meals and transport.

From 9am, seniors can enjoy food, entertainment, car and craft displays, a dance floor, lucky door prizes, and also be in the running to win a $250 Escape Travel voucher.

Entry to the event is $2.

Door to door transport is also available for a small fee of $2.

A full list of events is available on Council's website, at the Halcro St Community Centre and at various senior and community services offices.

For more information or to book transport, phone 4194 2441.
