Chris Hemsworth spends a Thor fortune on passion
CHANNEL Seven reporter Luke Munro has revealed his pal Chris Hemsworth buys a new surfboard every week.
Addressing the VIP crowd at Channel 7's Gold Coast News first birthday celebrations on Tuesday night, Munro referenced the expensive habit with a laugh.
"I have never met a more enthusiastic surfer," Munro said. "He's a surf frother."
Munro, a former professional surfer himself, was hit up by a colleague to lift the lid on his friendship with the Thor star on stage just weeks after footage of the pair surfing on the Gold Coast aired on Seven.
Last month, Munro was towing Hemsworth in to big waves to carve it up before his white surfboard snapped clean in half. But we are sure his good friends at Emery Surfboards aren't complaining.
