Check your tickets: Are you Coast's mystery Lotto millionaire?

THE hunt is still on for the Gold Lotto ticket holder who doesn't know they have been a millionaire for three months.

The mystery entrant was the sole winner of the $1 million Monday Gold Lotto division one pool, drawn on December 19.

Golden Casket has renewed calls for the winner, who bought their ticket from Cotton Tree News in Maroochydore, to come forward and claim their prize.

The ticket wasn't registered, so the winner must contact Golden Casket with their entry ticket.

The draw's winning numbers were 4, 10, 6, 33, 11 and 38, with supplementary numbers of 28 and 23.

Golden Casket spokesman Matt Hart said officials had no clues or contact details for the mysterious missing winner.

"Our missing millionaire could be a local resident, someone who was holidaying in Maroochydore, or simply someone who was visiting family and friends in the region," Mr Hart said.

"We don't know, but we'd love to unite the winner with their $1 million windfall.

"We haven't lost hope that the unaware Maroochydore winner will be found."

While the prize will now make a very late Christmas present, there's no need to worry about the ticket expiring just yet.

"Just recently a man found an old Lotto ticket while cleaning his car and discovered he'd won a million dollars more than a year earlier," Mr Hart said.

"With $1 million to be claimed, it could pay for you to have a clean-up around the house, car or anywhere else you stash Lotto tickets."

He advised anyone who believed they were holding the division one winning entry to keep it in a safe place and contact Golden Casket as soon as possible on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.
