Centacare Community Services Disability Action Week: Golf Fun Day

Centacare Community Services is hosting a Golf Fun Day in celebration of Disability Action Week, on Sunday 13th September 2015, at Jindalee Golf Cub.
Centacare Community Services is a non-for-profit organization devoted to enabling individuals to live meaningful lives within the communities of their choice. The aim of the event is to help us to raise awareness and funds to provide quality services for people living with a disability.
The event will kick off with morning tea at 10:30am, followed by a shotgun start for the golfers at 11:00am. Throughout the day there will be novelty games, a sausage sizzle and afternoon tea. Ray Jeffrey, the director of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will be providing key updates and will be available to answer questions. The day will conclude with a dinner presentation, from 6:00pm.
Participation costs range from $30 for a game of golf only, $30 to attend the dinner presentation or $60 to participate in the whole day. Centacare Community Services supports more than 1600 individuals who have a range of disabilities and complex health conditions. Centacare has a strong presence in the Western Suburbs and Ipswich, providing; learning and leisure, accommodation and respite services.
