Celtic Celebration at Maleny on September 27

SUNSHINE Brass in conjunction with the pipes and drums of The Clan will present a Celtic Celebration on Sunday, September 27 at 1.30pm at the Maleny Community Centre.

Admission is $15 for adults, including afternoon tea.

A spokesperson said if people had Celtic blood in their veins, or even if they didn't, it would be a concert not to be missed.

"You have never heard pipes like these. You have never heard Brass like this. So come along and hear The Wee McGreegor, Highland Cathedral and much, much more."

Tickets will be available at the door.

Also, Sunshine Brass is looking for brass and percussion players of any standard to join its progressive organisation.

The group needs players of all ages from juniors to seniors, at all levels of competence.

Band members practice every Tuesday night from 7.30pm and have coaching sessions on the first and third Fridays of the month from 7pm at the band hall in Daniel St, Nambour.

For further information on the concert or joining the band, contact Arch Robertson on 0409 851 546 or email sunshinebrassband@gmail.com.
