St Brigid's Community have celebrated Catholic education in Kyogle as part of Catholic Schools Week throughout all of NSW and the ACT.

Across the week there were a number of activities taking place to showcase the school to the Kyogle community.

"We are so fortunate in Kyogle that families have a choice for the primary education of their children," Principal Tony Hunter said.

"St Brigid's has been offering a quality, Catholic education for over 102 years now and this is an opportunity to show the community what an impact this has had and will continue to have in our community".

St Brigid's is proud of the wonderful learning and teaching that takes place within its classrooms every day, as well as the contribution that the school makes to the Kyogle community.

An invitation was extended to parents, the parish and the wider community to join in the spirit of the celebrations.

A number of activities were held during the week to promote the wonderful happenings of our school.

Open classrooms highlighted the contemporary learning visible to all learners.

The school community came together to celebrate mass with our Parish Priest Fr Erick to acknowledge the wonderful work of our school with a special Catholic Schools Week Mass attended by parents and parishioners.

One of the special projects of Catholic Schools Week for the St Brigid's community was the special display in the old IGA Building window.

It certainly drew a number of positive comments from staff, students, families and members of the wider Kyogle community.

St Brigid's is very proud of it's historic past and exciting future as a Catholic educational facility for the families of Kyogle and surrounding districts.
