Caloundra VIEW club celebrates 20 years of activities

THE women of Caloundra Evening VIEW celebrated the club's 20th birthday at a Roaring 20s themed dinner held at the Caloundra Golf Club on Tuesday, September 8.

President Sandra Harding, welcomed all Caloundra members and their guests and said that it was particularly exciting that foundation members Jill Rylatt (president), Carol Kahl (delegate), Bev Walker (treasurer) and Claire Seddon (assist. treasurer) were also able to attend. Bev and Claire are still current members of the club.

Lorraine Sumpton (zone councillor) congratulated the club on its tremendous effort over 20-years in supporting the work of The Smith Family, which provides financial help to disadvantaged Australian children ensuring greater access to educational opportunities.

Members were entertained with a performance of The Charleston, by a group of energetic women, and they then enjoyed the great dance music provided by the fabulous Michelle Brown Duo.

VIEW is always looking to welcome more positive and fun-loving women into the organisation. To find out more about Caloundra VIEW Club, phone Sandra on 5491 3669 or email the secretary at caloundraview@hotmail.com.
