Former judge speaks at Burleigh Waters Probus Club

WE HAVE interesting guest speakers each month, and at our last meeting former Judge David Ashton-Lewis gave us a great insight into aspects related to the Australian Constitution, plus interesting information on the lead up to Federation.

During August the Probus Club of Burleigh Waters visited Hinze Dam, where they had an interesting tour and informative talk, plus a nice lunch.

The Walking Group went around the lower path of Burleigh Headland, which has now been re-opened.

Retired or semi-retired men are invited to club meetings on the third Monday of each month at 10am in the Burleigh Waters Community Centre, 131 Christine Ave, Burleigh Waters.

Our aim is to provide fun, friendship and fellowship to our members.

This is a men's club, but wives/partners are welcome to attend club meetings and outings and share in the great fellowship.

The club has an outing on the first Monday each month, in addition to the monthly general meeting.

For further details, phone Brian 5520 6332 or Colin 0427 272 829 and for more information, visit our website.
