Big boy's toys going cheap at Coast auction

THE PEREGIAN Springs Golf Club's administrative auction is in its closing stages and there are still some bargains up for grabs.

Administrators Morton Solvency Accountants began the auction about a week ago with two of the four lots having closed.

There are still two lots worth of assets up for grabs with only hours left to run on the third lot.

Here's seven of the hottest items left to go under the hammer:

1. Dune Buggy:

Every kid's dream, this two-stroke, two-seater stock cart buggy is up for grabs with the current bid sitting at $710.

2. Tractor:

It's a John Deere so you know it's good.

This open-cab 4610 power reverser model with canopy roof is currently sitting at $7250 with about 20 hours to go on the auction and reserve price still not met.

3. Brushcutters, blowers, chainsaws:

Stihl brand so that carries some street rep.

These bad boys don't have a reserve set and are currently sitting at only $500.

4. Golf balls: 

Not so much a big boy toy but more a treat for any mad keen golfers.

The 1974 Classic Honda 350 Four model has only 350-odd miles on it.

Other treats:

From welding gear and greenkeeping tools to a 2011 Holden Colorado with only 88,000kms on the clock.

There's also a string of golf carts up for grabs, 40 to be exact, all set to go from $4000 reserve.

Lot Two closed today with golf clubs, gym equipment, clothes and more all snapped up.
