BDGA Senior and Veteran’s Championships to be held

THE BDGA Senior and Veteran's Championships is to be held at Nudgee on Sunday.  This is a Men's Only event.  The nomination fee is $40. Private carts are allowed.  As this is a District Championship, it is worth 200 QSOOM points rather than the normal 150 points for an 18 hole event.

The online nominations for the Carbrook PresCare QSOOM, to be held on Friday 15th April, are closing at 9:00 am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.  The nomination fee is $35 (only $25 for Carbrook members). Private carts are allowed.

You can enter online via the Golf Queensland QSOOM website www.golfqueensland.org.au/senior-order-of-merit-events/carbrook-prescare-qsoom .  You may still be able to enter after the online closing date but you will need to ring the Carbrook Golf Club direct to do so.

The Laidley Ladies' Classic is to be held on Wednesday 20th April and Thursday 21st April with nominations closing on Friday 15th April.  This is a Ladies' Only event.  The nomination fee, which includes a BBQ lunch, is only $65 for the two days ( $35 if you can only play 1 day). The prize pool is worth $2,000 and as this is a 36 hole event it is worth 200 QSOOM points rather than the normal 150 points.  Private carts are allowed.

The Laidley Men's Classic is to be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April with nominations closing on Wednesday 20th April.  This is a Men's Only event.  The nomination fee, which includes a BBQ lunch, is only $65 for the two days ( $35 if you can only play 1 day). The prize pool is worth $3,500 and as this is a 36 hole event it is worth 200 QSOOM points rather than the normal 150 points.  Private carts are allowed.

As of this year, members of the club hosting the PresCare QSOOM event can also nominate online using the members option, if they choose, or they can nominate through their club.

·         City of Brisbane Masters- open event- aged 50 years or over,

·         Brisbane Senior Amateur -open event -aged 55 to 59 years and

·         Brisbane Veterans Amateur -open event -aged 60 years and over.  

The cost to enter one of these events is $40 and the tee times will start from around 10:30am.
