Bayside residents 'over the rainbow' to meet Byron students

RECENTLY the Year 3 and Year 4 Starfish class from Byron Community Primary School visited a local nursing home called Bayside in Suffolk park.

The reason we went to Bayside was to sing some songs to the elderly residents.

The residents liked the song somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Our music teacher Michael Turner's dad was in Bayside as he was quite ill and sadly passed away recently.

After we sang the songs, we went around and met some of the residents.

At the end we got given some snacks.

When we got back at school we all got a resident to write a letter to.
