Bargains galore at Lifeline Bookfest on the Gold Coast

LIFELINE is stocking the shelves for its annual bookfest on the Gold Coast from June 24 to 26.

Doors will open to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre at 8am and trading goes through till 5pm. 

The three-day grand sale comes at a perfect time for readers to put their feet up, snuggle up and enjoy a good book.

Lifeline is offering buyers the best of winter books with a vast array of health-conscious, children's, cooking, fiction, limited edition books and magazines that suit all tastes and ages.

The Gold Coast Bookfest is also offering its customers chances to win gift vouchers. Customers who enter the online competition will get a chance to win a $50 bookfest gift voucher before the event, and a second chance to win 10 $50 Lifeline Shop gift vouchers during the event.

With prices as low as 50 cents, customers can buy bag-loads of books and share them with family and friends.

All funds raised at the bookfest support Lifeline and UnitingCare Community programs.

In Queensland, UnitingCare Community runs Lifeline services such as the 13 11 14 crisis line and post-disaster Community Recovery Program as well as Lifeline shops and events.
