Collectable stamps to honour Queen's 91st birthday

IN HONOUR of Queen Elizabeth's 91st birthday, Australia Post will release two commemorative stamps on Tuesday, April 4.

The $1 stamp features a photograph of the Queen during a visit to the Broadway Theatre in Barking and Dagenham, London. The visit was part of a day of public engagements with Prince Philip.

The international rate $2.95 double-definitive sized stamp shows the Queen and her husband Prince Philip in acknowledgement of their 70 years of marriage.

The image is from when they were travelling in the Royal Procession as part of the prestigious Royal Ascot horseracing event.
