Angry takes classic live 'Tatts' album on tour

RELIVE the live and sweaty rock of the Eighties when The Angry Anderson Band comes to the Sunshine Coast with its Tatts: Live In Brunswick album tour.

Tatts: Live in Brunswick is a 14-track album recorded in the early '80s at Melbourne's Bombay Bicycle Rock Club in Brunswick and mastered for loyal fans this year.

This album captures the sweaty, alcohol-soaked, intense assault on the senses and the rock scene back in the fabulous Eighties.

Tracks such as Bad Boy for Love, We Can't Be Beaten and Rock N Roll Outlaw have become legendary.

Released via powerhouse indie rock label Golden Robot Records, the album was unleashed digitally on February 3 this year with hard copies and associated merchandise available at shows.

It's an album that takes fans back 35 years, when the Australian pub rock scene was at its peak, live music was everywhere, and so was Rose Tattoo - fast becoming one of Australia's most-revered rock bands ever.

This classic line-up is Angry Anderson, Pete Wells, Gordon "Geordie" Leach, "Rockin" Rob Riley and Dallas "Digger" Royall.

Known for their peerless, raw, heavy blues rock'n'roll, a hot mix of slide guitars, and the unmistakable voice of Angry Anderson, the "Tatts" were literally on fire as this live outing testifies.

Take a trip down memory lane as The Angry Anderson Band plays the Tatts: Live in Brunswick album in its entirety in a series of showcase gigs.

The Angry Anderson Band is Angry Anderson, throat, slide and lead guitarist extraordinaire Dai Pritchard, rhythm and soloist guitarist Joel McDonald, "Italian Stallion" Dario Bortolin is the bass man and completing the engine room is drummer Peter Heckenberg.

ANGRY Anderson plays on Friday, March 24, at Buderim Tavern. Buy tickets at www.moshtix.com.au
