Alleged drink-driver runs off the highway at Howard

A 39-YEAR-old man was allegedly three times the limit when he ran his car off the Bruce Hwy near Howard on Tuesday morning.
Sergeant Steve Wheeler said the Mackay man veered off the road and into a ditch at 4am.
He allegedly blew 0.169% after police arrived on the scene and breath-tested him.
The man was charged and issued with a notice to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court.
