A show about Chad Morgan

CHAD Morgan is the last of the country music legends. He has out-sung, out-drunk and outlived his famous contemporaries.

When Slim Dusty died in 2003, the heavy title of country music's "national treasure" was passed on to Chad.

Chad hasn't had a drink or a smoke for over 30 years and now past 80-years old, is still one of the funniest men on the planet.

A one-of-kind entertainer who can captivate an audience with a story, a joke or just a facial expression and some of the most original, funny songs ever performed.

A living legend of Australia's entertainment industry and a true gentleman of country music, Chad is a country music pioneer who has played all over Australia, with fans from grand- parents to grandchildren.

This is the first time in 20 years he has brought his full show to the Gold Coast and has teamed up with husband and wife team Glennys and Ian Muir.

Originally from the Goulburn Valley in Victoria, The Muirs are now based on the Gold Coast and have been writing songs and performing together for a number of years.

The Muirs came to the attention of the legendary Chad Morgan at one of his shows, and have since been touring the country as his support act, performing at all the major festivals.

Matinee performance on Saturday, July23. Phone 55347999 or visit www.currumbinrsl. com.au.
