A lesson in making Brazilian bread

BRAZILIAN chef Wilson Aguiar is giving a new cooking lesson at the Beerwah Green Tower Market on Saturday inside the Beerwah CWA Hall.

You will be able to learn the popular Brazilian cheese puff recipe that is gluten, wheat and yeast-free.

The class will take 90 minutes, and starts at 9am, finishing at 10.30.

Students will need to bring their own container (as there might be some leftovers to take home), a pen to take notes and comfortable clothes.

Gluten, oil, milk and butter-free tapioca is cultivated in tropical areas and is the main staple for indigenous people in Brazil.

Tapioca cheese bread or Pão de Queijo is a traditional Brazilian nibble from the region of Minas Gerais.

It can be enjoyed for meals or as an appetiser served with wine, beer or juices as well as with dips and sauces or even soup. Different ingredients can be added to the dough in order to gain flavours and colours.

Bookings are essential today on 0434 081 086 or email delightsrio@gmail.

com. Cost is $30.
