SPEED limits on a troubled section of the Yeppoon-Rockhampton Rd will be reviewed this week. On what sections of the road do you think the speed limit needs to decrease or increase?

Stretch Devine: The speed limit between access 1 and access 10 on both sides of the duel lanes should be 120 km. it is up to the main roads to have a good running track. And that is not to penalise the drivers by putting the speed down to 80km.

Gloria Peckover: It's not the speed limits, it the idiots not obeying them mostly.

Polly Reed: The Yeppoon Rocky road is dangerous especially during peak times. Many seem to think its a race track. Tailgating at 110 km an hour like lemmings. Suprised there are not more serious crashes.

Polly Reed: People always blame the road but people simply don't always drive to suit the conditions.

Diane Bassett: For goodness sake,it's not the speed limit it's the drivers. Why isn't it 4 lanes from A to B? Reducing the speed limit is stupid.

Joshua Greenwood: No reason now with the old bridge resurfaced why it couldn't be 70 all the way from Port Curtis Road to the Yeppen Roundabout. Even once the new bridge was completed, having to slow back to 60 once you got on the bridge was ridiculous. And how about 110 on the road to Yeppoon all the way to Neils Road, followed by 100 and then 80 for the approach to the first set of lights?

Debbie Daley: The 80 signs don't seem to be working. Every car that come up behind me on Saturday afternoon passed me like I was standing still doing 80 klm hour.
