Documents reveal ISIS rules for owning women and children

DOCUMENTS captured by US forces during a raid in Syria reveal the IS hierarchy has issued a series of 15 rules on sexual relations with "owned" women and girls.

The IS fatwa is reportedly an attempt to curb the appalling mistreatment of captured females.

According to Reuters, one of the rules states: "If the owner of a female captive, who has a daughter suitable for intercourse, has sexual relations with the latter, he is not permitted to have intercourse with her mother and she is permanently off limits to him. Should he have intercourse with her mother then he is not permitted to have intercourse with her daughter and she is to be off limits to him."

The document also permits the harvesting and trafficking of human organs of "apostates" - which would seem to mean anyone who does not follow IS's extremist views.
