THERE is just two weeks left until the Maranoa's biggest business night of the year, the Shop Local Invest Local 2014 Maranoa Business Awards.

The Western Star will have a special publication in this coming Tuesday's paper, showcasing all the nominees.

Commerce Roma executive officer Sharyn Garrett said the Maranoa Business Awards feature would celebrate the outstanding efforts of local businesses this year.

She said tickets were still available for the event, coming up on October 24, and urged the community to show its support.

"It is the inaugural Shop Local Invest Local Awards," Ms Garrett said.

"It would be great to see all businesses, nominees, finalists and everyone else there to support this initiative.

"The event will showcase what our businesses can do."

Tickets for the Maranoa Business Awards black tie gala dinner can be purchased online at www.shoplocalinvestlocal.com, or by emailing info@commerceroma.com.au or from the Commerce Roma office at Compass West in Hawthorne St.

The event will be held on October 24 from 6.30pm at Explorer's Inn.
